I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin’.
The last time I recall CJ2K tweeting about the great city of Houston, he spelled it wrong… I can’t remember exactly HOW wrong, but it might have been something like “Huston”.
Well, if you follow his Twitter feed (and I don’t) you’d know that he’s in H-Town tonight for, I assume, Vince Young’s birthday party – and he just got off this tweet:
“I’m in the city what ittt isssss I might make dis my new city”
Here’s how I react to this tweet: “I know he’s just talking about the city, and I know there’s a better chance that I will replace Brian Cushing for the first four games of 2010 then there is that Chris Johnson would be a Texan, but man that would be sweet.”
Here’s how (the literate) Titan fans will probably react to this tweet: “What he means is, he OWNS Houston.”
Here’s how the typical Titan fans will react: “Damn, Cletus. We’re out of Sudafed again? Grab yer musket, we’s gonna go to town.”
So, this was a dumb entry. But here you are, reading. Shame.

But MAN could anybody stop this offense with Johnson in the backfield!? Johnson & Johnson? That would be seriously frightening. It’d be the first 2K/2K/5K season ever (rushing/receiving/passing).
WAKE UP!
Sorry. I was dreaming there for just a little bit.

I don’t think CJ ment that he owns this town. He was stating that he likes this city and he might consider visiting here more often as well as move here in the off-season. If he moves here and wants to play here that would be a bonus.

I suspect there isn’t enough cash available to field JnJ

He has 3 years left on a 5yr/$12 mil contract. Easy to sympathize with NFL players in that their contracts are never guaranteed. Obviously he is worth more now than when he was drafted. If Reinfeldt is smart he will take care of his franchise Johnson, just as Smith will take care of Dre.
Zero chance he lands in H-town any time soon.

Once again, with the contract issue, I kinda have to say “get over it”.
C.J. Spiller is a poor man’s Chris Johnson, and he earned himself #9 money. If Johnson wants to complain about his rookie contract, he should have done more in college. Hell, everyone thought it was a major reach to take him in the first round, so he’s lucky he got what he got.
If I were a coach, I’d be really upset/worried about fielding a player that is so scared of injury or mediocrity that they HAVE TO GET PAID RIGHT NOW. I mean, seriously, CJ, if you are so confident in your skills, then why are you worried? That money will still be there.
Sorry. Another contract rant from a guy who almost qualifies for food stamps. And yet you’re still reading. Shame. :^)
When’s the NFC South Roster debate gonna start anyway?

CJ is the exact opposite of what I want on the team. He has a selfish attitude, he gives himself stupid egotistical nicknames, and he can barely speak english. No thanks.
