In the spirit of prodding some of you to get into this Twitter thing – at LEAST to follow some Texans players and/or bloggers, I’m going to start up a weekly-ish feature where I highlight a few notable Tweets from players, or anyone else on my Twitter feed.

First up, Brian Cushing. When you see interviews with him, he’s pretty much all business. The guy just loves football, and sometimes it seems as if he doesn’t have the inclination to discuss much else (which is great if you ask me). But on his Twitter page, the guy is a trash-talker, he’s funny, and he’s accommodating to his fans.

Today, he Tweeted that the first fan who found him in the Galleria would get treated to lunch. Sure enough, luckily for Cush, it wasn’t a 30-something year old blogger who found him, it was whoever this chick is – and he followed through with the lunch.

Mario Williams tweeted that he was going to get a much-needed massage, to which Cushing responded “yeah from me choking you out today. True Story.”

Clearly, Cushing has fit right in with his teammates, and allow me to offer an understatement – dude is a rookie no more.

Another 2nd-year guy who is fitting in quite nicely is Connor Barwin. He’s a regular Twitter user, and today via phone video camera he posted this video of himself sacking a piñata, followed by another Texans Tweeter, a shirtless and possibly insane David Anderson taking out one of his own while wearing a sombrero. Seriously:
