Our Fantasy Football league champion has received his “prize” for winning it all… and now I can unveil it to all of you. The good folks at Art Hall Awards in North Austin helped me design the trophy. Originally I had planned on just getting the glass engraved, but instead came up with the idea to make it part beer glass and part actual trophy. I’m sure our champ will find many… creative uses for it.
Next year I’ll do a new one for the winner. I hope you guys like it… and strive – yes, STRIVE I say – to have one of your own in the future. I know, I know – that’s a hell of a big dream.
But I believe in you. Logging in to Yahoo three minutes before kickoff to change your teams and spending about six minutes per week doing research can really get you far. THIS is what you can become. It’s right there! All you have to do is reach out and TAKE it!

That is exactly what I wanted to do, but 1-it was far more expensive, and 2-I don’t want to have to count on someone to have to mail it to the next guy and then I’d have to pay for it to be engraved every year (I’d want to do it that way) so I figure for now we’ll do it this way.
That said, it’s not out of the question that we do this in the future.

I had a blast playing…I mean tanking…this year! Hope to play again next year. I learned alot of lessons playing in a league as big as ours.
That trophy is awesome looking! Not that I doubted Chris, I was truly blown away at the prize. Very impressive. My friends and I usually just pass an old David Carr jersey around or whatever craptastic thing we can find.
