Vonta Leach arrested on misdemeanor charge

Well, so much for good news today. Right after finding out about the rookie signings, I find this article, thanks to Wolf, a poster at TexansTalk.

Vonta Leach arrested on misdemeanor simple assault charge.

Reading the article, it certainly doesn’t sound like a HUGE deal. Leach actually has a reputation as a good guy in the community, and he does a lot of charity work. Leach claims he was only defending himself when he hit a guy in the face with a beer bottle. Let’s hope that’s how things turn out, but it’s still going to bring him some negative attention.

For one thing, you know Mike Florio is absolutely frothing at the mouth for an NFL arrest. /rolleyes

    I sure hope this does not turn into anything. We really need Leach in the backfield this year.
