UPDATE: It looks like this thing will go down earlier than I thought. I’m still working out the kinks of my equipment setup, but I expect to have the first podcast up soon. Much sooner than what I estimated below, anyway. I’ve exchanged emails with a couple of people about doing some telephone exchanges - I hesitate to call them “interviews” because I’d rather it be more of a discussion than a Q&A.
I’d like to take the podcasts beyond just the Texans, and also do some general NFL discussion in addition to the Texans-focused content. Once the season gets closer, I for sure want to do a fantasy football podcast as well, with a sit/start feature and anything else we can come up with. I say we because I’m WIDE open to ideas/suggestions.
One thing I want to assure you of is that I’m not going to subject you to long stretches of one voice talking into a microphone. This thing is going to be as interactive as my equipment will allow, and it is my intention that podcasts featuring ONLY myself will be the exception rather than the rule.
Anyway, hopefully with the participation and feedback from you fine readers/fellow bloggers, it will take a natural course and carve out its own identity. I expect the first couple of editions to be quite unrefined, but we’ll see how it goes. Thanks again to everyone who expressed interest.

I’m trying to put together a regular podcast for the site. It probably won’t start up until right before the regular season, but I just wanted to throw that out there. I could do a very low-quality version right now, but I’d rather take my time with it and try to make it higher-quality.
Ultimately, I’d like a set-up that would also allow me to have guests, such as commenters or other Texans bloggers… the more the merrier. We have a lot of insanely informed, intelligent fans, and I figure this would be one more way to let our voices be heard… or you know, something less corny than that.
Anyway - I know I open myself up for scorn and mockery by asking this - but would that be something you would listen to and/or participate in?
