So there’s no mystery about what’s going on around this little corner of the Internet. It’s been tough for me to carve out time to keep the blog going, and it’s clearly a shell of its former shelf. With the success of the Texans and the fact that I started this site when they were TERRIBLE, you’d think I’d be posting all the time now that we have what appears to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
Since the Texans have joined the ranks of the upper-crust of the NFL, several new Texans’ sites have popped up and are doing well. “We” as a blogging community are thriving, (is it possible for bloggers to thrive?) and all is full-steam ahead. With that, I’m not here to make any sort of sweeping statement – I’m just saying that I’m going to do all I can to get back into the swing of things around here, and if it works out – great. If it doesn’t, I’m just gonna go ahead and shut it down – I’ll claim the proverbial “good run” and just continue to irritate you people on Twitter and hopefully continue to show up on Battle Red Radio once in a while.
Second piece of business – shockingly I have received a couple of emails poking me to renew the HDH Fantasy Football League. Sorry, but I’m gonna shut that bad boy down. There was basically no discussion regarding the league while it was in play, and it just kind of came and went without any sort of… anything. Of course that is 100% on me, as Kubiak would say. The past winners will live amongst immortals in the Hall of Kings with the greatest who have walked the Earth.
So sit back and prepare yourself for MORE THAN ONE BLOG UPDATE PER WEEK!!! Or more. Or nothing at all. Maybe some cat pictures.
