SBN Houston Sunday night weekend wrap-up

Posted by: Chris on March 27th at 9:17PM

We were pretty March Madness-heavy over at SBN Houston this weekend, but I did manage to sneak out one Texans story. It’s a “what if” article. I’m not typically fond of those, but I wanted to take a look back at Rick Smith’s drafts and give a quick opinion on his penchant for having no interest in the BPA (best player available, for all you non-draft junkies). I take a look back at the players thought to be BPA at the time (in other words, I’m not using hindsight here).

What If The Texans Had Taken The Best Player Available?
Julio Jones seems to be the most likely BPA that Houston passes on in this draft, should he get past the Redskins at #10. Give a read and feel free to comment here or at SBN. I trust you’re all enjoying the Tournament? Anyone going to a Final Four game?

One response. Wanna say something?

I don’t see how the Texans could possibly fill all our needs on defense in one year, so I wouldn’t be too opposed to the pick.
